The Fever by Michael Brady6/11/2023 Lieutenant Colonel Michael Brady, USA, (RET), earned his MS in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University in Washington, DC in 2003. Hold on, as the fast-paced narrative not only has you wondering what will happen next, but definately let’s readers know Brady has the chops and inside info to bring us into a dark world. Michael Brady’s novel, INTO THE SHADOWS THE FEVER: A Spy Story is an e-ticket ride through Israel, Cyrus, Germany, Cuba and Syria. You’re entertained while taking a mini course on becoming a spook … CIA operative. While reading INTO THE SHADOWS THE FEVER: A Spy Story, you learn a lot of inside information about covert missions and the way our government collects intelligence. The two team up, going to the Syrian border all in an attempt to keep terrorists from smuggling the deadly Ebola virus into New York City. He’s a career CIA spook with a cover, so he can hunt down, identify and disrupt a plot by an Islamic jihad terrorist group. Once in Israel, he partners with Mossad agent, Elif Turan, who is working in Turkey. Unlike Vince Flynn’s protagonist, Mitch Rapp, Brady’s guy is Michael Brennan. In other words, he’s the new spy guy! I got to meet Michael at BookExpo in May and in addition to possessing quite an imposing stature and knowledge of all things military, he’s a really nice guy and I was excited to read his debut spy novel, the thriller, INTO THE SHADOWS THE FEVER: A Spy Story (WaldorfPublishing). Author, Michael Brady is being positioned to become the new Vince Flynn or a younger, cooler, Tom Clancy.
